The next session of the Albany Rec Class will begin on Sept 7. You now have the option of attending once or twice a week!
A brand new class is being offered in San Raphael starting Sept 8.

Big Island Tai Chi Adventure on 11/16/2009

This year's retreat will take place on the Big Island of Hawaii from April 29 to May 6, 2010. Learn the ancient art of Tai Chi in the youngest land on Earth. Come to paradise, practice in harmony with nature, and harness the elemental forces of wind, sea, earth and fire to cultivate your inner power, rejuvenate your body and return home to your spirit.

Each day will include Tai Chi training that will cover:
    *    4 Element Chi Kung to cultivate the chi.
    *    Chi Kung exercises to circulate the energy and heal the joints and tendons.
    *    Standing postures for aligning the chi flow.
    *    Form and kinesthetic corrections.
    *    Sword form basics.
    *    Intuitive Tai Chi.
    *    Partner Tai Chi.

Additional activities will include:
    *    Snorkeling and body surfing.
    *    Hiking through a lava tube.
    *    Boat trip to view lava flowing into the sea.
    *    Visit to thermal pools.
    *    Waterfalls, gardens, and parks.
    *    One hour Hawaiian massage.
    *    Tour of Volcanoes National Park.
    * Swimming with giant Manta rays.

This residential workshop will take place at a Yoga retreat center and will include fresh organic gourmet meals. Vegetarian options available.
